The Do’s and Don’ts of the Use of Vehicle Ethanol Gasoline

Self-cleaning specialty

The ethanol in vehicle ethanol gasoline is an excellent performance organic solvent with strong dissolving and cleaning characteristics. Those experienced drivers and maintenance personnel often use ethanol to clean carburetors. The carburetors washed by this method are clean and thorough. For the same reason, vehicle ethanol gasoline can also do. However, when cars use Ethanol gasoline in the first time, especially after use 1-2 times, under the ethanol gasoline cleaning function, all kind of impurities such as rust, dirt, colloid etc. deposited on the tank, oil way will soften and dissolve down, then mix in oil. These impurities may cause oil way to be blocked.

Suggestion: when cars use ethanol gasoline in the first time, it is better to clean the main parts of car oil tank and channel, like fuel filter, carburetor to ensure burning system clean.

Water-wet behavior

As Ethanol gasoline additives are mixed with a certain amount of denatured fuel ethanol, ethanol has water-wet behavior which dissolves with water easily. It is not same with gas which can separate from water then water deposits in the tank bottom. So before use ethanol gasoline additives, you’d better check your tank if it has water to make engine abnormal work.
